Skills application
Complete

In this activity, you will evaluate your organisation's readiness for ML through a high-level SWOT analysis. The aim is not a deep audit. It is a strategic snapshot that helps you anticipate blockers, leverage strengths and plan practical next steps.

Context

Imagine your organisation wants to use ML to improve decision-making, customer experience or automation. Before choosing a specific use case, leadership wants a clear view of readiness across technical, strategic and cultural dimensions.

Your task is to map:

  • Where your organisation is strong and well-positioned.
  • Where gaps or internal barriers could derail progress.
  • Which external opportunities and threats may affect outcomes.

Success criteria

To complete this activity:

  • Fill all four SWOT sections: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats.
  • Mark the top one to two factors in each section.
  • Add a short rationale (two to three sentences) for your top picks.
  • Capture follow-up questions that need deeper investigation.
