In this hackathon workshop, you focused on implementing and testing an initial ML solution, generating results, and improving performance through early experimentation. The same approach can be applied directly in day-to-day work.

Start with a workable first solution​

Use the same mindset from the hackathon when approaching new problems:

  • Start with a practical first version rather than aiming for a perfect solution immediately.
  • Test assumptions early using available data.
  • Focus on getting initial results that can guide next steps.

Learn from early results​

Apply the same thinking used during initial testing and evaluation:

  • Use data and measurable outcomes to assess whether something is working.
  • Observe what happens when changes are introduced.
  • Capture early observations and questions to guide future improvements. This approach helps move work from assumptions and intuition toward evidence-based decisions informed by early results and experimentation.
